Tim used a ton of sample packs with FL Studio.

A lot of them are from Vengeance and Mutekki, but I recently found out he also used the Big Fish Audio sample packs. I'm looking for a specific one, the Big Fish Audio 2 Rush: Progressive House pack, but as a newbie/beginner/noob, I will not and am unable to spend money on anything.

I know some of you here are producing music as well and I was wondering. Where do you get your sample packs when you're just starting out? Of course, there are a billion ways to go about this, but starting out, I'm not willing to spend (much) money on it. So what would be the best way to go around this? Edit: Re-wrote it a bit as it came across weird and rude and waaaay off. TBH, I've started music production 8 years ago.

First, my dad gaves me an install program for ACID pro (from Sony). Then, I met a guy who were producing on FL Studio, and I discovered that I was able to compose melody rather than 'using only samples'. This is at this very first point I've decided to get skills and knowledge about FL.

So I was fan of Avicii, SHM, Daft Punk and many other big names, and my first idea was about to learn how to recreate something similar to my fav hit tunes. I didn't pretend to compose my own music, or to write things directly related to me.

That's how I found PLENTY flps and bedroom producers on YouTube, who were trying to remake big tunes such as 'Level', 'Miami 2 Ibiza' or 'Sweet Disposition'. And honestly, samples were included, some mixing patterns too (made by the remaker btw) and I was so happy to first success while trying to reproduce the exact down pitch on levels main chords with Tape Stop (the one from dblue).

So if you need some, I still have the old flps of this remake and it will be a pleasure to share those w/ you. Also, this is a good ressource to start learning and touching a bit deeper the process that FL offers. Watch tutorial when you find difficulties to reach an option, or if you aren't able to do something at this moment. And the last thing: try to get in touch with producers from your level. You know, they've learned and experienced so many issues or creations ways you didn't know yet, and it can help you to go further;) • • • •. Woah, no that's not what I meant at all. Sure, I'm looking for sample packs, but not in the negative way you think.
